To have my whole head shaved by a barber was quite luxurious. The service was indulgent, thorough, expensive, and applied professionally by a guy at the right level of chattiness. The resulting shave was suitably close and smooth, although not necessarily better than what I can do myself when I focus. I might want such a service again on days where I’d want to ensure a close shave and minimize cuts - namely important events where I want to look and feel my best in a reliable manner.
